SUPPORT FOR EVERYDAY CARE

How can we help?

General information

What is VQPET H?
VQPET H is a pet blood glucose monitoring system for cats, dogs, rabbits and rats. It supports everyday home monitoring alongside veterinary guidance.

Is it a replacement for veterinary care?
No. It is a monitoring aid, not a diagnosis. Discuss readings and treatment decisions with your veterinarian.

Which animals can use it?
Choose the matching animal type on the meter before testing.

Using VQPET H

How do I perform a basic test?
Select the animal type, prepare a VQPET H test strip and the lancing device, apply a fresh whole-blood sample and wait for the result.

How much blood is needed?
The system is designed for a tiny 0.5 µL sample. Follow the user manual and your veterinarian’s advice for the sampling site and technique.

How quickly will I see a result?
Results appear in about 5 seconds after the sample is applied correctly.

Are results stored?
The system is designed to store test results automatically so you can review changes over time.

Strips and control solution

Which strips should I use?
Use VQPET H Blood Glucose Test Strips with the VQPET H meter. Check the strip packaging and user manual before testing.

When should control solution be used?
Use VQPET H Control Solution when instructed by the user manual or when you need to check the system. Follow the control-solution instructions.

Can I use expired or damaged strips?
No. Store strips as directed on the packaging and close the container promptly after removing a strip.

Readings, care and support

How should I interpret a reading?
Consider a result together with your pet’s symptoms and clinical history. Do not change treatment based on a reading alone; contact your veterinarian.

What if a result seems unexpected?
Check the strip, sample application, animal setting and meter instructions. If the result remains unexpected or your pet seems unwell, contact a veterinarian promptly.

Where can I find instructions?
Follow the VQPET H user manual. For setup or testing help, contact support with the meter model and a description of the issue.
